Check out the latest spring fashion with local artists and style guides. Mainframe artists and designers unite to create unique artistic fashion displays throughout the building in this open studio event. There will be an “iconic” menu from Tangerine Food Co. as well!

Dome After Dark at the Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden

Experience the Garden in a new light at Dome After Dark, which was recently extended to all Fridays until March 25! Stroll through the lush conservatory and Gardeners Show House illuminated with unique lighting and luminarias. Regardless of if you haven’t gotten your hands on an Egg King sandwich or if you go every week, its fun to be at The Hall on Saturday mornings. Find yourself a table, order on the app, grab yourself some drinks and enjoy the large TV screens. Pretty chill and delicious. If you went last weekend and loved the Korean Fire Chicken meal, it’s back this week! Spice level 4 out of 10, or you can request no spice! Just ask.

Ok, maybe you’re a pro skier and snowboarder and this is ridiculous to you. But to us, complete novices in our late twenties? This is actually doable…and kind of fun! Drive north to Seven Oaks for a fun day of skiing, snowboarding, or snow tubing. Snow tubing tickets must be purchased online. Ski/snowboard tickets are first come, first serve. They serve food and some beer in the lodge! Hit up Whatcha Smokin’ for amazing BBQ on the way back to Des Moines.

DSM Stand with Ukraine Peace Rally

On Sunday, March 6, 2022, a rally for peace will be held at the Iowa State Capitol for the citizens of Ukraine who are fighting against Putin’s unprovoked aggression. Russian and Ukrainian born Iowans, Muslims, Christians and Jews, Democrats and Republicans, will unify to rally for peace. 


Live @ Fuzzy’s Comedy Open Mic

Every Sunday night Fuzzy’s hosts a comedy open mic night. Sign up starts at 6:30 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m. There will be food and drink specials all night with participating comics winning Fuzzy’s gift certificates. This event is free, and all are welcome!
