Find yourself a table, order on the app, grab yourself some drinks and enjoy the large TV screens. Pretty chill and delicious. If you went last weekend and loved the Korean Fire Chicken meal, it’s back this week! Spice level 4 out of 10, or you can request no spice! Just ask.

- Seven Oaks Recreation, 1086 222nd Dr, Boone, IA 50036
Ok, maybe you’re a pro skier and snowboarder and this is ridiculous to you. But to us, complete novices in our late twenties? This is actually doable…and kind of fun! Drive north to Seven Oaks for a fun day of skiing, snowboarding, or snow tubing. Snow tubing tickets must be purchased online. Ski/snowboard tickets are first come, first serve. They serve food and some beer in the lodge! Hit up Whatcha Smokin’ for amazing BBQ on the way back to Des Moines.

“Prepare to be astonished as Mozart meets the movies in this inventive and dazzling celebration of true love conquering all. This charming interpretation of Mozart’s most famous opera puts the singers in front of a huge screen, interacting in real time with animations projected all around them, creating the impression that gigantic comic strip collages are coming to life right before your eyes! The fable centers around noble Prince Tamino and bird catcher Papageno’s quest to rescue Pamina, the Queen of the Night’s daughter. During their journey the two are tested as they overcome evil to discover the truth.”
