40 Oz to Freedom won the 2010 San Diego Music Award for Best Tribute and has toured the entire US and Canada for over six years, developing one of the largest tribute band followings in the world. 40 oz. to Freedom is true to the So-Cal vibe with thumping bass lines, rad beats, and shredding guitar riffs topped off with soul quenching vocals.

The Songbook Project: Max Wellman sings Richard Rodgers

As a young child, Max Wellman was first exposed to jazz and standards by Ella Fitzgerald’s acclaimed series of Songbook Albums. This collection highlighted the work of specific composers in a series of double LPs that have been heralded ever since their release. Wellman honors the legacy of those recordings through a regular concert series at Noce, with each concert specifically featuring the work of a great American songbook composer. This installment features the music of Richard Rodgers.


Juneteenth: The Movement Live Concert

Iowa PBS, Iowa Public Radio and xBk are excited to announce Juneteenth: The Movement, a two-hour live television, radio and digital event celebrating the Juneteenth holiday. This special live multimedia experience will occur one-time only on June 19 from 7-9 p.m. on Iowa PBS, Iowa Public Radio News/Studio One signals and livestreaming on YouTube and the Facebook event. You can also buy tickets to go in person! 


The Feel Right Performs at Juneteenth Celebration

High-energy funk rock favorite Float Like a Buffalo released their debut feature-length album titled Back from Nowhere on Friday Feb. 4th, 2019 at a near-sold-out release party at The Gothic Theatre. The album release comes ahead of Float Like a Buffalo’s 2019 shows at Red Rocks, The Walnut room, and several other major Denver venues, plus a mountain and national album tour.
